Hi 👋 I'm Yesenia Ponce aka @colourbyyesenia. Welcome! I'm so happy you're here!! Hair is my passion, but most of all, I love making people feel and look fabulous! I've been a hairstylist for 17 years and counting. I started my career at the age of 18, and at 21 in 2010 I opened my very first salon. Platinum looks salon Selma, fast forward to Jan 2020 Platinum looks Salon 2 (Fresno) was established having 2 Salons was a dream come true! March 2020 (C-19) shut down all salons it was pretty devastating, but we kept going and re-opened. Fast forward to 2022, my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was one of the toughest things we ever had to go through and decided to close Selma location march'23 to focus on my mom and treatments, and with the grace of God she came to full recovery. June '23 a opportunity came up that i couldn't resist it was perfect, and it was God sent!! Everything fell into place perfectly, and with the help of my BF, inlaws and family my vision came to life where Platinum Looks Salon & Suites was established! It has been the best thing ever! With lot's of growth and new beginnings. I've been so blessed with an amazing team of talented boss babes!!! Fun Fact about me in 2018 i was on the Price is right and won!!! Everything including the showcase! It was so much fun!! You'll have to hear all about it at your next appointment!! Thank you for choosing me, and i can't wait to have you in my chair!
